We are a documentary team based in Abuja
Latitude Space Africa has spent over a decade producing documentary films for international development organisations working in Nigeria. Clutch.co rates us the top-rated video production company in Nigeria, 2023–2026.

Toba Oduwaiye
Producer & Director
Toba has spent 20 years in television and digital media across 10 countries. Before founding Latitude Space Africa he worked with UNOPS, Al Jazeera, the World Bank, the United Nations and Bloomberg. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications.
That background is the reason the company works the way it does. Toba has sat on the commissioning side of development communications as well as the production side, and understands what a country office needs a film to accomplish — internally, with a donor, and in public.
He directs or produces on every project the company takes on.
The people who do the work
Supported by a network of more than 30 specialist creatives across Nigeria, scaled to each programme — not full-time staff, but the people we call when a shoot needs them.

Raphael Imoter
Northern Nigeria specialist and native Hausa speaker. Leads field production in Hausa-speaking states.

Eseosa Eguamwense
Previously with Survivor Alliance UK. Runs logistics, scheduling and field coordination.

Faith Alobo
Former communications officer at Christian Aid. Brings the commissioning side's perspective into the edit.

Alasi Tobi
Directs field production and interview-led documentary work.

Tayo Oni
Manages delivery timelines, milestones and client review cycles.

Kenny Omodara
First point of contact for new enquiries, proposals and tender submissions.

Blessing Ndianefo
Supports business development, client communication and outreach coordination.
Equipment, languages & field standards

Equipment
High-end 4K cameras and lenses, professional field interview lighting, broadcast audio, gimbals and drones — packed for field conditions and travel across Nigeria.
Languages
Native speakers of Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Tiv, Nigerian Pidgin and other minority languages, with English interpretation on set — interviews happen in the language people actually think in.
Field standards
Do-no-harm in humanitarian and community contexts, informed consent from every interviewee, and guardian consent before filming a minor. Built into how we work, not added afterwards.
